In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the National Art Honor Society program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.

We are excited to once again offer students the opportunity to participate in Art Club here at Cary High School! We have quite a lot of plans for the semester, including many murals and painting projects in prominent areas around campus. We had quite a large turnout during our first couple of meetings and are excited to hit the ground running with such a large and dedicated group this year.

Official Art Club meetings will be held on Wednesdays during A Lunch, with work days planned during lunch and after school as necessary to complete the many projects we are undertaking this school year. The official meeting schedule for the Fall semester is as follows:
